BURLINGTON, Ontario, Jan. 3, 2013 /CNW/ - Greyhound today announced that Greyhound Express — the company's premium non-stop express service between major cities — will offer an on-campus stop at Western University in London, Ontario, starting Jan. 11. The company has had a long-standing on-campus presence, and worked closely with the university to bring its Express service to the student community.
The route will provide two daily trips from Western University to Toronto on Fridays, with return service on Sundays. This announcement comes just two months after Greyhound expanded the popular service from Toronto to London, Windsor, Ann Arbor, Mich., Detroit and Chicago, adding to the Greyhound Express network of nearly 90 markets. Tickets are now on sale at www.mygreyhoundexpress.ca, with everyday fares starting at $1.
"We're pleased to bring Greyhound Express to the Western community of students, faculty and neighbors, providing them with our premium service and the convenience of an on-campus stop," said Dave Leach, president and CEO, Greyhound. "In just over two months, the demand for Express has grown in Southern Ontario and we're honored to offer this community a fast, safe and comfortable ride."
