BURNABY, BC, Oct. 9, 2012 /CNW/ - IWG Technologies Inc., through its
subsidiary, International Water-Guard Industries, is pleased to
announce the issuance of ANAC Supplement Type Certificate CST No.
2012S09-08 for the installation of the IWG-A4 potable water treatment
unit on Embraer Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 aircraft.
"Achieving certification of the IWG-A4 on Embraer aircraft is an
important milestone for both IWG and Embraer," said Bruce MacCoubrey,
IWG's President. "For us, this is a continuation of our formal
relationship with an important and growing airframe manufacturer. For
Embraer, this introduces IWG's ultraviolet technology into the Embraer
business jet fleet."
The IWG-A4 certification opens the market for IWG to offer its unit on
Embraer's growing Legacy 600/650 fleet. Existing Legacy owners
registered with Brazil's ANAC can also take advantage of this new
offering. Current plans to obtain certification validation with the FAA
and EASA would open the Legacy market further.
The installation was designed by International Water-Guard and our
Brazilian partner Avionics Services of Sao Paulo. The CST kit may be
ordered through Embraer Business Jets as well as International
Water-Guard.
