LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Old Dominion Freight Line has relocated its Las Vegas Service Center to a newly constructed, larger facility to keep up with increased freight in the region, the company has announced. The 60-door terminal is located on a 10-acre site at 4550 East Cheyenne Ave. and will employ 43 people.
“Old Dominion has maintained a presence in Las Vegas for about 10 years, and our business has grown ever since,” said terminal manager Jason Garrison.“The bigger dock and yard will improve our on-time service, enhance direct loading and decrease break and line costs.”
Old Dominion will offer direct service from the terminal to a number of nearby cities, including North Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, Indian Springs, Mountain Pass, Sloan, Jean and Primm.
