Hamburg Süd improves L.A. cargo service to Australia/New Zealand

MORRISTOWN, N.J. -- Hamburg Süd is improving its cargo receiving times in Los Angeles for export cargo to Australia/New Zealand.

Effectively immediately, cargo cut-off times in Los Angeles for the Pacific Southwest string will be:
• Dry Cargo cut off: every Friday at 2:30 a.m.
• Reefer Cargo cut off: every Friday at 4:30 p.m.

“By allowing refrigerated cargo to be received on Fridays until the late afternoon for the weekly Sunday departure of the PSW string, reefer exporters will enjoy faster overall transit times to the growing markets of Australia and New Zealand,” Hamburg Süd officials said in a release.
